Day Treatment and Training - After School (DTT)
At Peace Living, we believe that learning and personal development extend beyond the traditional school day. Our Day Treatment and Training – After School (DTT) program is specifically designed to enhance and expand upon the skills and knowledge children acquire during their classroom lessons. Catering to school-aged children and adolescents, our DTT program offers specialized sensory-motor, cognitive, communicative, social interaction, and behavioral training that enriches some portion of their 24-hour day.
Key features of our DTT program
- Specialized Training: Our program focuses on sensory-motor, cognitive, communication, social interaction, and behavior training, along with daily living skills such as health & nutrition through cooking classes, computer skills, money management, personal hygiene & safety awareness, and motor skill development.
- Experienced Staff: Our trained and experienced DTT staff provides personalized training and supervision, tailoring their approach to meet each participant’s identified needs.
- Social Interaction: We prioritize opportunities for appropriate social interactions, allowing participants to forge friendships and engage with the community in meaningful ways.
- Personal Growth: Our ultimate goal is to create an optimal environment for personal growth and exploration of potential. We encourage families to schedule a tour of our facility to see firsthand how we support our clients and their families.
